Jennifer Dabbs, DPT, MS, OCS, COMT

Jennifer Dabbs, Physical TherapistJennifer Dabbs is part owner of Body Wellness. She has been a practicing physical therapy in the outpatient orthopedic setting for over fifteen years. Throughout her career Jennifer has specialized in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal and women’s health conditions and has developed an expertise in working with complex spinal and pelvic disorders. Jennifer takes both a pragmatic and eclectic approach to her practice, always drawing from a number of different approaches to formulate the best plan of care for the individual needs of her patients.

Jennifer received her B.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Boston University, a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the George Washington University and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and a certified Pilates for Rehabilitation instructor. Jennifer has completed post-graduate work in Australia, where she received a Certificate of Orthopedic Manual Therapy through Manual Concepts. In addition to her educational background, Jennifer draws from her experience as a competitive collegiate athlete, playing lacrosse at Boston University and later coaching at the University of California, Berkeley, to further enhance her treatment of athletes of all levels. She currently lives in Washington, DC with her husband, Mike, and children, Jackson, Sadie and Curtis.
