She works with women supporting their fertility, through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. She founded the Dynamic Mama Pilates programs– which provides much needed support to help moms rehabilitate their abdominals, strengthen, reconnect and realign post-partum.

Christine A. Ruppert, LMT. CNMT
Licensed Neuromuscular & Massage Therapist

Christine RuppertChristine brings more than 30 years experience as a massage therapist, as well as both a yoga teacher and student to her practice. She uses massage, neuromuscular therapy and a variety of other modalities, as tools to help people become pain-free, to release tension and strains, and to support their process of becoming and remaining centered and happy in their body.

Christine completed her primary massage therapy training in 1984. Over the years, she has undertaken extensive and advanced education in Neuromuscular therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Sports massage and more. Christine is particularly interested in anatomy and physiology, and has directed her studies to focus on the causes and effects and a variety of treatment strategies for specific injuries, pain conditions and structural imbalances.

A major premise of her work is that by restoring balance to one’s muscle tone and structural alignment, reduced pain, greater ease and freedom of movement, confidence and self-awareness in one’s body can become the new “normal”. The first stage of this process is to observe and analyze posture and movement patterns. Using this objective information as well as the client’s unique experience in his or her body, Christine can determine which muscles and other tissues are overloaded or weakened, and how best to return these to their natural, healthy state, which in turn, often takes care of the pain.

Christine integrates her diverse education, her keen observation and communication skills and her intuition into each session. Christine creates sessions that are “interpretive”, and she adapts her touch to the particular quality of the tissues at any given moment in order to best match the client’s immediate and overall needs and goals. This focused engagement and connection with each person individually facilitates their positive experience of touch and assists them in restoring true health. She has successfully addressed conditions including:

  • Cervical & Whiplash Injuries
  • Thoracic Outlet and Frozen Shoulder
  • Headaches, Face & Jaw Pain,TMJ Dysfunction
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Muscle imbalances from Scoliosis
  • Recovery from Surgery & Trauma

I am honored to be invited to and trusted to touch each person, to walk with him or her along their path to healing and to recognize and share in the positive changes that may occur with each session.
